Welcome to Arkansas Iron & Pipe Welding Academy

Founded in 2022, Arkansas Iron & Pipe Welding Academy is a small school with current room for 10 students.  We like to emphasize that our low student capacity allows us to give more attention to each individual student.  We have a total of over 40 years combined experience in the construction / welding industry and would love to share our skills / experience with you!  We are licensed by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education and are members of the American Welding Society.  We have access to student loans through the AREF (Arkansas Rural Endowment Fund). AREF student loans require Arkansas residency and an employed co-signer. They have low interest rates and repayment doesn't begin until 6 months after you graduate. We offer real, on the job-like training.  Classes are Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:30pm.  We assist our graduates with job search upon graduation of the program.  Our intention is to prepare you with the knowledge & welding skills for you to enter and work safely in the welding industry. 

At Arkansas Iron & Pipe Welding Academy, we offer a 10-week (400 clock hours) AIP Structural Welding Program. The cost for this program is $12,300.  

We also have a 20-week (800 clock hours) AIP Pipe & Structural Combo Welding Program.  The cost for this program is $19,500.  

Tuition covers all books, tools, shop materials and supplies that the student will need throughout the program with the exception of their personal steel-toe boots, clothing (cotton jeans and denim long-sleeved shirt), and prescription safety glasses if required for vision. 

Tuition must be paid entirely prior to attending the school.  Each student must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years old or signed for by a parent / guardian to attend.  We require a physical and eye exam prior to attending as well.  Students must be able to pass a drug screening.
